Thirty Days of Connection: What Comes Next?

We have reached Day 30 of the EIS 30-Day Student Engagement Program, and that is worth celebrating. For the past month, students, families, and teachers have been showing up, checking in, and building habits of connection. Thank you for being partners in this work.

Looking Back Together: What Did We Learn?

Over these 30 days, many students have shared more of their voices in class discussions, messages, and assignments. Parents and caregivers have helped us understand students’ strengths, worries, and routines at home. Teachers have listened closely, adjusted plans, and tried new ways to check in. All of this has been about one core idea: every student belongs and deserves consistent adult connection.

Using Weekly Reports as a Conversation Starter

As we close this first month, it can help to look at the weekly reports together. You might notice changes in:

  • Class participation and turning in work

  • Academic progress and confidence with new skills

  • Attendance patterns and on-time logins or arrivals

  • Communication with teachers and willingness to ask for help

These patterns guide our next steps. They do not prove that the program caused every change, and that is okay. What matters most is that we notice what is working and where support is still needed, while recognizing every student who participated, even if they are still finding their footing.

How AI and Automation Help Us Stay Connected

Behind the scenes, AI and automation have helped us send reminders, share weekly progress reports, and keep communication organized. These tools do not replace people. Instead, they support the real heart of this program: caring adults, listening to students, noticing effort, and responding with kindness and consistency.

One Student Action, One Family Question, One Teacher Promise

Student action: Choose one habit from this month to continue next month. It might be sending a quick message when you feel stuck, joining class on time, or speaking up once per lesson. Your choice matters, and your effort is seen.

Parent conversation prompt: Ask your student, “What should we keep doing together next month?” This simple question invites their voice, honors their ideas, and reminds them they are not doing school alone.

Teacher commitment: We will use family feedback from this first cycle to improve the next one, adjusting how we communicate, celebrate effort, and respond when students need more support.

Your Next Step

To help us keep growing together, please complete the brief reflection survey and continue reviewing the weekly progress report as a family. Your reflections, questions, and ideas will shape what comes next in our shared journey of connection and learning.
